The grotto consists of an activity crafts area with the Elves where the Children can make their own Christmas decorations to take home. You will have a personalised family visit with Father Christmas and receive a present to take away. A group photo will also be taken, for sale at an additional cost afterwards. There will also be small craft gifts for sale at the cash only retail point.

How long is the timeslot with Father Christmas?
Approximately 10minutes. The overall experience we estimate approximately 45mins-1hr overall.

How many can go in with Father Christmas, and how much does it cost?
The grotto has a maximum capacity of 6 (it can be a little tight otherwise). Children are £12 each, Under 2’s £5, Adults FREE.

Why do you need additional information for the Children?
As much as possible, the visit to Father Christmas will be personalised to the visiting children. This extra information helps us to provide that unique quality to your visit, and keeping the magic alive for your children. You do not have to supply this information, but for the personalised experience, it is recommended to.

What can I pre-order?
In order to speed up your experience on the day, and to save the hassle of cash (we're cash only on site), you can pre-order your Grotto Photo, as well as other special little items such as our 'Dasher Dust' which is a magical reindeer food to leave out on Christmas Eve. You can also pre-order a Magic Key. Pre-orders of the Magic Key will be given to the children by Father Christmas in the Grotto. Dasher Dust can be collected from the retail point. All pre-order items are available to purchase on the day, at our cash only retail point.

Will the children get a present?
Yes. Father Christmas will give each paying guest a present. They have been sourced and sorted by the suitable age range. Please be advised, some presents may not be wrapped or each child may receive the same, but each present aims to promote creativity and encourage family time also.

How do I post my letter to Father Christmas?
When you make your booking, you will need to supply an email address for your booking confirmation/ticket to be sent to you. Within this email, the address will be supplied for which you can send the letter to. You will also need to include your booking reference so we can match it up with your booking. You should aim to post your letter no later than 7 days before your visit. LWP is not responsible for letters getting lost in the post, or information not being supplied whereby we are unable to match it up with your booking.

What is the latest time slot I should book if seeing the pantomime?
It is recommended no later than 50minutes before the start time of your pantomime booking. This will allow enough time to see Father Christmas, and then take your seats for the show.

Can you just turn up on the day?
It is recommended you book in advance. You can turn up on the day, but you will only be able to book available timeslots. There is no guarantee of availability, or that there will be a timeslot to suit you.
